Internet Data Exchange (is a policy developed by the National Association of Realtors, NAR, provides the ability for real estate brokers to share listing information. Specifically, IDX gives all brokers a chance to work together for everyone’s individual benefit, by allowing brokers to share listing information in a public place.

IDX was created to provide a system where brokers give each other permission to display their listings on each other’s websites, within certain guidelines.
